Best Book in Humanities for 2017!

Portal Culture announced its annual awards for achievements in literature and the social sciences in Bulgaria for 2017.

For the Humanities category the first prize went to Prof. Ivaylo Znepolski and his two-volumes publication „How Things Change”, published  by the Institute for Studies of the Recent Past.

The book tells the story of varying incidents in the literary field of communist Bulgaria which provoked different reactions among the critics and the ideological authorities varying from effective censorship and secret police sanctions, circulating anecdotes and gossips to open and/or hidden intervention of the communist leader himself.

ISRP Publication among the Top 50 Best Sold Books in 2016

In January 2017 one of the leading Bulgarian publishers “CIELA” announced its ranking of the 50 Best Sold books for 2016.
